As the son of a high school teacher and basketball coach, education has always been important to Brian. He brought this passion to his career while he was working with financial advisors, always teaching and educating them on new products, market trends, and practice management and helping them pursue success in their businesses. Now, as he works with his clients, he educates them on tools and strategies for working towards their own financial independece.
Over Brian’s 30+ years in the financial services industry he has worked closely with many of the largest and most successful wealth management teams in the country. He supported these advisors in their product selection, portfolio construction and practice management – helping them to successfully implement and oversee client portfolios. With a deep background in Exchange Traded Funds, Private Equity, Municipal Bonds, Unit Investment Trusts and Mutual Funds, his experience set and product knowledge are vast.
Brian started his career as an account executive at Merrill Lynch. He also served as Director of Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds at Glickenhaus & Co. He was a Regional Director at Russell Investment Group, LLC where he managed corporate relationships with Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and UBS. He was a Divisional Sales Manager at Van Kampen Investments and he spent several years at Invesco PowerShares as Senior Regional Vice President.
Brian holds Series 7, 63 and 66 FINRA licenses with LPL Financial. He graduated from Union College, Schenectady, NY, with a B.A. in Economics. He combines his passions for teaching and financial services.
Brian is very active in his local community. He serves on the school board and is a catechist for the Children’s Liturgy at Saint Leo the Great School, Lincroft, NJ. He is also on the board of directors of the Victor Zando Foundation. Since graduating from college, he has coached basketball at various levels.
Brian lives in Middletown, NJ with his wife and two children.
